The South Korean Government is Dispossessing of the Farmers Lands for the Expansion of the US military base. From:  Pan-South Korea Solution Committee against US base Extension in Pyeongtaek On March 6th Dear fellow citizens ,         Against wishes of the farmers in Daechuri, the South Korean government is taking coercive actions to dispossess of the farmers lands. At this moment, on March 6th, the South Korean government is forcibly removing the farmers and the activists from Daechu elementary school, the heart of the movement against dispossessing of the farmers' lands and expanding the US military bases.                  The farmers of the Daechuri-Pyeontaek region have been protesting the expansion of the US military base and the coerced dispossession of the lands. However, far from listening to the farmers wishes, the South Korean government decided to dispossess the farmers' lands just to allow the US to expand its military bases in South Korea.                  We censure the act of the government and the expansion of the US military base. We denounce the South Korean government for its unjustified arrest of the farmers and activists. Despite the government's oppression, we will fight, without any hesitation, for the rights of the farmers and the peace of the Korean Peninsular and the whole world. Dear fellow citizens,         Please support the farmers of the Daechu-Pyeongtaek region so that they can keep their lands. Please let the farmers know that not only citizens of Korea but also citizens of the world do stand by the farmers. Please forward and distribute this letter to your friends so that all the citizens of the world aware of this tragic situation. The police is surrounding us at this very moment. We will be forcibly removed and arrested at any minute. But we will not stop our fight till the government stops dispossessing of the farmers' land. Thank you for your time and help.
