"If Fr. Mun die would die we die two times" The sincere  appeal made Fr. Mun stop the hunger strike   Paeng Seong villagers experienced their land eviction along with their families in 1952 during the Korean war. They are facing third eviction for the expansion of US military base in Pyeong Taek situated on west coastal area in S. Korean Pennilsua. Peace Nomad have had an interview with Paeng Seong villagers for 8 monthes and published a book tittled "The Field cry" Villagers hold publication ceremony just in front on Korean National Defence Ministry Building at 11 o'clock on Nov. 15  tuesday   At 2 o'clock after ceremony the monthly anti-American gathering was held at Civil Park beside US ambassy. More than 20 PaenSeong villagers and civillian groups participated. After the gathering 70-80 elderly men and women were going to hand over to US Ambassador a letter and the book calling for no millitary base expansion in Pyeong Taik. On the way to US ambassy Korean riot police blocked their way illigaly and violently. Fr. Mun accompanied with villagers declared hunger strike on the street to death. But  Fr. Mun completed his no drink, no food and even no medicine strike on the road within 20 hours. Around 10 Villagers came from Daechuri early in the morning to convince Fr. Mun. They hold Mun's hand crying and saying that we will die two times if you die. Fr. Mun was convinced by their cry of villagers and stopped his strike. Fr. Mun is always suffering his heart trouble
