October 1, Stories of the first day of Autumn ¡®Nong Hwal (farmers-students joint farm activity)¡¯ (by Peacewind) ¡ã On October 3, about 400 university students visited Daechuri and stayed for 3 days. This autumn, they could not work in the rice field because of the rain. Instead they went to the Daechu branch elementary school and cleaned it up, which the Ministry of Defense of South Korea now plans to take and use for other purposes. They are collecting garbages and getting rid of weeds ¡ã Rice plants got wet. If only we could harvest the rice even after rain. ^^ Is it an immature idea? ¡ã But we came here to work in the rice field. Let¡¯s go out to the field! They are going out to clean the watercourse during continuous rain. ¡ã Oriental Korean medical clinic from Daegu visited daechuri, where no decent medical clinic exists other than only very tiny ones. . ¡ã Now the Senior¡¯s hall became a medical clinic. Residents are now receiving medical treatments by a medical team ¡ã A large amount of wastes are collected. The students are cleaning the place hard. ¡ã Despite those hard workings, they are dancing to the songs. The event hall is now crowded with people since so many students came here. They are shouting very loudly. Some seniors are sitting on the seesaw outside the hall. Is it because there are too many people inside or they just want to take rests? The ¡®Zzanzzara¡¯ concert, which Hanshin University students have prepared for today. They enjoy themselves and forget all the worries.   Representative of Students Council of Hanshin University Hanshin University students have collected books for the ¡®sol-bu-eungi(Brown Owl)¡¯ library. Representative of the Students Council of Chungang University, Anseong Campus Students from Chungang and Kyonggi universities are dancing. Bachelors of both Oriental and Western Medicine, and Pharmacy joined this activity. They have just finished medical treatments in several places. They say young people are also welcomed. Maybe tomorrow, I will go to get some oriental medicine treatment as well.
